Pork Steaks, New Potatoes, Corn On The Cob

Well, we had a cook-out for dinner, you're gonna be drooling after you see these photos :D You can cook this same dinner, and it's fast and easy....follow me!

Here are Pork Steaks marinated in bottled Italian Dressing, we just use the WalMart brand. We marinated them for a couple hours while we got other stuff ready. These were cooked over a charcoal fire; some things just taste better that way. So wait til the coals are covered in white ash, and shake off excess dressing before you place them on the grill. You'll know when they're done, look for clear juices, and always make sure your pork is really cooked! (is that just me?? it's the other WHITE meat :D)

Ahhh!! I bet you can almost smell that!! Twin did, when she drove up to her house next door, LOL!! Trust me, it smells awesome. Now, I don't like Italian Dressing on my salad, but as a marinade it's the very best! I've used Kraft, and I've used Sam's Choice; they pretty much taste the same to me. If I have a coupon, I'll splurge on the name brand...
Thank goodness these cook so quickly, because it was over 90 degrees outside about 4:00pm, and on the deck, in the hot sun....ack!!

There they are....nice and juicy, and ready to eat. What are we gonna have with them?? HossFly's friend gave us some corn on the cob and some new potatoes out of his garden....thanks Richard!

Uhhh, guess I missed some silk...they'll get over it

Yumm, there it is....I cut the new potatoes in quarters and added some smoked bacon, and a couple cans of green beans. Normally we only eat frozen(or fresh!), but of course when I started dinner I found out I didn't have any, so a quick trip to the local store for canned. With the smoked bacon and new potatoes, they tasted great! The bread we just used to butter the corn....
and what about dessert? Finally got that Blackberry Cobbler made....and some whipped cream on top...

from this, to this...

and I ate it while I blogged....this is multi-tasking!! But now, I'm gonna have to lie down and try not to move too much, hehe! ahhh.....
