The Big Dipper.....Not Really; Vintage Dipper Turned Planter

The other day I was walking through the jungle (front yard) and found this old aluminum dipper under an azalea. I knew just what to do.......

turn it into a planter! I used a Brillo pad and scoured it and then bent the cup part up. This small pot of Nemesia fits perfectly into it for now, and will get full sun out by the back deck.

Have Fun,
Kudzu

  1. That remimds of the dipper that my great grandpa used to dip water out of his well bucket. That was the sweetest, coldest water --we would take turns having a sip right out of the dipper!

  2. Oh I love that! Perfect!

I haven't been over to visit in a while, sorry! My home roasted coffee beans are great! I was all amazed myself about being able to do it and HAD to try it! I'm still working on my perfect roast, I do a little bit each time until I find the perfect one. But they've all tasted good!
