This is an old book we played with when we were very young children. Who knows how old it was when we first got it, but it wasn't new. I love the images, and traced and drew these when I was a little girl. Too bad we used pencils and pens to draw in the book itself, so I didn't copy all the pages. The pages aren't in order either, no one even remembers anymore.

The pages are wonderful! I wish my mom had saved things from my childhood...she was a thrower. Of course, she asked me if I wanted anything, and I said no. I wasn't ready. I have made a point of putting everything in boxes ready to hand over to my kids when they are ready to enjoy them.

LOL...my mother was a pack rat! I've inherited it somewhat :D I plan on taking pictures of the old wooden toys we played with, and some I picked up at a yard sale this summer, a whole box for $5 :D And I've saved a few of my kids things, little clothes and such, a few toys, drawings, report cards. I feel lucky to have a plate with my son's handprint on it cut from fabric. I have their teeth(!!!!) in my jewelry box, lol, it's part of my treasures :D
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those pages. I have some similar ones, and don't know yet what to do with them. What are you going to do with them?
