I saw this on the Garden Web about a week ago, and I thought, wow, so sweet looking! And...I have everything I need to make them but the Hershey kisses! So, I bought the chocolates and tried to take photos as I went. I wanted short roses, so I cut the bamboo skewers in half. I searched for Hershey kiss roses and found a lot of sites that have how-to's. I'll list the first one I found.
Hershey's Kisses Roses instructions by Susan Allred here. Thank you Susan!
Gather supplies
I already had red tissue paper. But...I'd try to find the red cellophane, I had a hard time because when wrapping the stem with floral tape, I'd tear the tissue paper at the top and bottom of the rose.
Here's my finished dozen roses! I have some white baby's breath SOMEWHERE, but of course I couldn't find it when I needed it! LOL I'm going to go check out the dollar store for some inexpensive silk fern leaves to fill out the bouquet, maybe I'll find the baby's breath by then :D
This is a very easy, simple project. It didn't take more than an hour from start to finish. I'd say an older child could make these for a parent or teacher.
Beautiful!!
