A Day At The Beach

Yesterday my daughter and grandson took time out to fly a kite at the beach and wade in the ocean. It was a beautiful day, so warm and spring-like. Here are a few photos.
This is the Gulf of Mexico along the Gulfport/Biloxi line, 26 miles of man-made beach. You can see how much has been restored since Katrina. In the background of one photo, you can see mounds of sand; that's where they're rebuilding the boardwalk. Enjoy!

    It is beautiful,lol! Too bad I stayed home and bleached my front porch yesterday. Oh well, that needed to be done before it gets too hot here! I'm going next time,though!
    No shells, no glass, no oyster eggs,no driftwood. You just can't find that stuff anymore!
