Here's a nice burgandy one. I used 5 melted circles layered together. I sewed it in the center with needle and thread and pulled tight to gather it; then i sewed several strands of 5 gold seed beads for the center. Will make a nice lapel pin!

And these are some different ways I put them together. The black one is coat lining with black tulle and a single gold bead in the center. Pearls make very nice centers, too!
have fun!

Hi Kudzu, the flowers are very pretty, I am afraid I would burn them if I tried it.
The Florida Panhandle is expecting snow also - can you believe it. I haven't seen snow since 1994 and that was just a little bit. They have shut down the schools and a lot of people are staying home from work - a real SNOW DAY!!
Lovely flowers! You are so creative!!!!!(-:
Snow??? well have a fun time with that!!! (-:

I also did a post about the Saints big win--don't live in Louisiana but am just over the border in Mississippi. C'mon over and visit my new blog!! Chris
I can't wait to try this technique! These flowers are soooo beautiful-- love this!
I think they turned out fantastic.
