Sneak Peek at "I-<3-U" Blog Give Away!

How about a little tiny peek at what someone is going to win??

That's all for now... You can see I'm just starting to fill it up with Bits&Pieces to add to someone's crafting stash! There's more.....but it's secret!

I found this craft for Valentine Paper Chains here at Paper Valentine's Crafts. I printed out the pattern, then stacked a lot of sheets of construction paper in red, pink and purple. I held the pattern on the construction paper with paper clips and cut through all sheets at the same time. HossFly helped by using a hole punch and showing the Grandson how to hook them together. A very easy and quick craft for younger or older children. However, I've decided I just don't have anywhere to hang them, so Aiden gets to take them to his Kindergarten class. Use different colors for teaching children sequencing skills.

There's still time to enter the "I-<3-U" give away! Sign up on the original give away post, and tell everyone you know to enter!

Tomorrow is my 27th Wedding Anniversary! I don't know if I'll be able to post, and I'm sorry I haven't posted in a few days, but the extreme temperatures are keeping us all so sick! It'll be almost 80 one day, then drop to 17 that night...the next day it will be a high of 50 then that night it will be 65! Grandson#2 has been to the hospital again, and now has to have breathing treatments 4 times a day, and a few other medications.....including liquid Lortab ( I didn't know there was such a thing!) for when he has pain breathing. This is what you contend with when you live down South. LOL!
Laissez les Bon Temps Roulez, eh?

Yeah, we're getting ready for Mardi Gras(Party Gras) !! So Let The Good Times Roll!

Remember when the politicians had to also speak French? When I was a little girl, my father always had to watch the speeches and I was very impressed that this only happened in Louisiana. They don't do that anymore, do they....
not long ago I was grocery shopping at a WalMart. We'd stopped at the deli for cajun roast beef and pepper jack. A man came up behind us while we were waiting in line and I couldn't help but overhear the conversation he was having on his cell phone. Now, I hadn't heard that form of French in YEARS ,so I had to turn around and take a peek at the man. He was dripping in silver and turquoise from his head to his boots! And were those alligator boots? He had long, long black hair with streaks of snow white that he had braided into a ponytail hanging down his back. Were those STARCHED jeans for goodness sakes? I couldn't see his eyes, he was wearing some of those Elvis sunglasses, you know the ones. He had a nice neat manicure, too. He just winked at me and called me "cher" and I smiled and nodded and turned back around.
Oh, and hey, the Elvis thing...boy, have I got some stories! Another time maybe :D
