Blog Give-away at Mimi-Toria's Designs

Check out this beautiful button pendant Gretchen is giving away at her blog, Mimi-Toria Designs. Look around at all her beautiful things, you'll be so inspired!

We're all ready to have things growing aren't we? Look what Cindy at Ramblings of Chippewa Creek shared. Isn't that a neat,thrifty,eco-friendly,green thing? And perfect timing, too, because I'm ready to start some seeds. HossFly had bought my grandson some plastic cups to use as seed starters, but we also save empty toilet paper tubes and paper towel tubes so I'm going to let him make his own little "pot" by himself. I told him we'd go let him pick out seeds and plant them today. I love this weather, but I can tell it's going to be a hot summer..whew! Already low '80s!

Later today I'll take some photos of some things I made, and show off some azaleas and find some other things growing and blooming outside and show them to you. This is the best time of year around here for the blooms and colors. Unfortunately, for pollen, too. Yep...my truck will go from navy blue to powdery yellow any day now. And if it rains, we'll have mushy yellow mud puddles. Thank goodness for anti-histamines,eh?

Awww, thank you for posting my blog!!

Great idea working with your grandson all the way from making his own seed pot! He is so lucky to have a gramma that does so much with him!

Can't wait to see pictures of flowers, and green! There are still patches of snow here, but it's supposed to be in the high 40's or low 50's today!! Yippee!!

You're welcome! Isn't it fun to let kids play in the dirt?? lol
Here it is, 7:30 at night and the a/c has been blasting all day. We made 4 little pots, but then it rained... and rained...no seeds planted yet.
