My Sister As A Fairy

Check out one more fairy in a jar...my youngest sister's baby pic. It was black and white, so I played around with an editing program and tinted it. Red hair, of course! Check out the little silver metal words my daughter found on clearance at Michael's for me. I got 4 packages of those. I filled the jar with clear Easter grass, threw in a handful of butterfly sequins(yeah, I know....I kinda love those right now!) A couple layers of green netting or tulle, a pretty ribbon, a couple buttons...ta-da!
Not a very good pic, but I don't know why I have such a hard time, inside, at night. Is it these energy saving bulbs?? They all come out yellow-ish.

Well, ya'll...I'm going to be in and out for a while. I'll need to be in New Orleans quite a bit, I don't know how long. I'll probably still be crafting; I'm a compulsive crafter...idle hands and all that. And reading. I love to read. Not those sweet romance novels, but blood and guts mysteries that keep you reading page after page for hours.
Oh,well, think good thoughts while I'm gone...share the crayons and behave yourselves.

That is so cute! What a great gift! For some reason I am thinking how cute those would be as Halloween jars with ghosts/witches/bats(-: Don't ask why I am thinking Halloween...I have no idea. Must be my dark side coming out(-:
Hope you have a safe trip.
